March 2009 Poetry Readings

Glór - March 21st

The monthly Clare Three-Legged Stoot Poets reading takes place on Saturday 21st in Glór at 2.30pm and will finish on or before 4.30pm.

The usual format of a mix of live music from a locally-based musician and 'open mic' poetry session pertains.

This month sees two guest poets, namely Arthur Watson and Patrick Stack. Both are members of the Clare Three-Legged Stool Poets group.

Glór - March 8th

As part of this year's Ennis Book Club Festival, Clare Three-Legged Stool Poets is putting on a poetry and music performance entitled "Aspects of Love" in Glór. Ana Marques will be MC giving Rob Hopkins a break so he can partake fully in the poetry reading.

The event takes place on Sunday 8th March at 12.15pm sharp and will take about an hour.

The performance will be a mix of live music from Mary MacNamara, live poems by members of Clare Three-Legged Stool Poets, a live rendition of their poems by the four winners of the Aspects of Love poetry competition run by the group, and a couple of surprises!
