In addition to the usual mix of live music from a locally-based musician and 'open mic' poetry, this month's guest poet is Kieran Furey.
Kieran Furey
Originally from County Roscommon, Kieran Furey lives in County Longford when he is not travelling around the globe. He has self-published 16 books of poetry and prose. Kieran read some poems from his most recent poetry collection The History House (2008) and the first chapter of his novel Linnane in London (2009).

Other poets, members of Clare Three-Leggèd Stool Poets who read were Brian Mooney, Arthur Watson, Michael Reeves, Noel Mulqueen, Patrick Stack, and Martin Vernon. Details are as follows:
- Brian Mooney read At an Exhibition of Francis Bacon.
- Arthur Watson read three poems, namely Layby Lay, Fly Cian Fly, and To Audley End.
- Michael Reeves read a poem entitled Snap from the collection he is currently working on called Cameos from a B Movie.
- Noel Mulqueen read a couple of poems including Renfast 1999.
- Patrick Stack read three poems namely Canção Lisboeta, Eucharis, and Bringlóid - watch the recording of all three poems.

Music
Joan MacNamara played "The Blackbird" on the violin, and "Lament for Limerick" on the tin whistle, and was accompanied by Marie O'Byrne on another composition where she played keyboard - recordings coming soon.
